About this place

Added by Nick Wagner

Tangerine Falls is a scenic 1.15-mile out-and-back trail near Santa Barbara, California. Get the best views of the waterfall after a recent rain.

This waterfall can be fairly dry during the year, so keep your eyes out for a recent rainstorm to get things going. When you start the hike on East Folk Trail, at 0.25 miles, cross over the creek and join West Fork Trail. A little over another half mile, West Fork starts to head uphill, but you can head downhill by turning right onto Middle Fork toward the creek. Cross over the creek and continue on the trail heading up the creek. At one point, there will be an option to stay with the trail and head away from the creek. Be sure to stick with the trail and continue next to it for the remainder of the hike. You will have to cross over the creek a few times. Be extra careful when the water is high.

Great Hike
Not too difficult, it can get steep near the end. Sadly almost no water even after a rainy day.
