Rock Climb the 90ft. Wall

Park at the Eagle Creek Canyon parking lot. If it's full, park alongside the Hwy 89, right at the entrance of the Eagle Creek Canyon parking pullout. Both parking areas fill up quickly, so if those two are full, park across the street at Emerald Bay Vikingsholm Trail parking lot. That area can fill up quickly too, but hey, this is Tahoe and a popular area to explore.

This rock climbing spot features a lot of activities: hiking, backpacking (desolation wilderness), camping, and yes, even geocaching! Technically, you can climb all year round, but I highly recommend coming when it's not super cold and wet. (Bring crampons or snow boots if you go in the winter and it's snowed in). It's a very popular spot, generally attracting a big crowd, so go early in the morning during late spring and summer months when weather is good. 

Camping is close to the bathrooms and parking lot, Eagle Falls Campground. 

Bathrooms at the parking lot are not always open. They are closed for the season during the winter and reopen sometime in late May or June.

Approach: 
About 10 - 15 min.
Walk out of the parking lot and follow the waterfall trail. The path will split so take a right, then the trail turns sharply right. Don't turn right. Leave the trail and continue straight over the slab rock, then about 150 feet later the 90ft. wall will appear on your right.
