Devils Kitchen is a geothermal hot bed with a beautiful mountain creek running directly thought it.
Your hike to Devils Kitchen will start from Warner Valley Campground. The hike starts out thorough the valley and eventually winds through the forest and ends at the top of the Devils Kitchen site. You'll then hike down the hill a bit and get to explore the area!
There are pretty specific walking paths for you to stick to as people have fallen through the soft ground into the thermal mud and burned themselves pretty badly so though I am never one to "stick to the trail" it would be wise to do so here.
I think the coolest time to photograph this place would be closer to dusk where you can get some loner exposures in there and capture all the steam coming off the water and thermal pools. We went during the day and weren't fully able to capture the beauty of it!
