A high elevation, north facing peak with great views and a steep ride down.
This trip is best done in two days with an approach day and then a descent day. Get started at the base of the Sherwood Chair on the backside of the Alpine ski area. Head up, outside of the ski area boundary toward the high ridge.
Once on the ridge, you follow it south for a few miles until reaching the middle of North Twin Peak. This is a great place to camp for the night. In the morning, head around the west side or back side of the mountain and you will find it an easy approach to the summit. Enjoy the ride down.
