Visit the Masai Mara Tribe

One of the other main adventures of the Masai Mara Reserve is to visit the Maasai people. They are known for being some of the best jumpers in the world and the higher the males jump, the more prestige they gain. When you visit the community they greet you with a traditional dance and then take you in to the interior where you learn their way of life. You cannot find the tribe on the map, but you'll have to ask your safari guide to take you there when you're already out on a game drive in the reserve. There is a fee of $20/person that you pay to the chief and this goes to the school they are building for the children of the village.
