One of the best hikes in Mammoth Cave National Park, Cedar Spring Trail showcases several sunken in pools of water surrounded by massive cliffs and a forest of trees.
Starting at the parking lot off of National Park Boundary Road, you will follow the marked sign on the path until you hit a set of metal stairs heading downward. Take the stairs to the bottom and take the first left on the trail to the observation deck that overlooks the Cedar Spring.

A great way to explore above the cave.
See the remains of a imploded portion of Mammoth Cave. It is a great forest hike down into the sinkhole left behind.
