A Gorgeous Summer Adventure at Doyles River Falls

Upper Doyles River Falls

At 28' feet tall, this is a warmup to its big brother further downstream.

Lower Doyles River Falls

This 63' tall waterfall is quite picturesque. The closer you get to it, the more slippery it gets; be careful!

Bears?!

I went on this hike not even thinking about bears; I NEVER see bears when I go hiking (not many bears in Arizona). Surprise! I didn't need my bear spray because this black bear had its eyes on a treetop nap (climbed up a nearby tree and slept while I was checking out the waterfalls). Have fun, be safe, and keep your eyes open for bears on the ground and in the trees!
