Ghost Dance Canyon from Dixon Springs State Park is an out-and-back trail with a scenic waterfall located near Gloconda, Illinois.
When you arrive at Dixon Springs State Park, drive through the park and stop and take in the main attraction of a waterfall that is partially man made. Then drive and park at the swimming pool, walk to the front of it where the building is, and turn to the right. Follow the trail, and be mindful there is only about half a mile of distinguishable trail. There are many places for you to stop and view the water and several continuous cascading waterfalls.
Once the marked trail ends, cross the creek and there is a path following the water and bluff line for about a quarter of a mile.
If looking for a place to camp, Dixon Springs State Park has a class B campground as well.
