About this place

Added by Billy DiMirra

This road provides some great views of mountains and Colorado springs, as well as numerous trailheads for exploring.

Gold Camp Road is a road that begins near Bear Creek Regional park. As you drive up the winding road, the road will turn to dirt. Continue driving down the dirt road, turn the corner and BAM, you're hit with some mountain views that will take your breath away. As you continue to drive Gold camp road you will drive through some really cool rock tunnels that cut through the mountains. There are various parking lots on the road that indicate trail heads, and eventually you will intersect with Cheyanne Mountain state park, which has tons of trails to hike too. The roads are pretty wide, but do get narrow on some turns. Please, Be careful of mountain bikers, runners, and wildlife because they will be out at all times of the year.
