A half mile round trip loop that gives you a great view of Pikes at an interesting rock formation.
Siamese twins is about a half mile hike with little elevation gain that is a quick hike while driving the park. The hardest thing about this is getting a parking spot to tell you the truth. On a weekend or pretty much any summer day the five or so spots available at the trailhead are constantly full. For this reason, it might be easier to park at the store down the road or if you are spending a full day there, to park by the visitor center.
As for the actual hike, you can go either right or left on the loop by taking either trail next to the parking lot. After about a quarter mile with a hundred feet of gain, you will arrive at the formation. This spot is super popular for pictures for all kinds of occasions so do not expect to be alone. My favorite thing about this rock is how Pikes can be framed by the formation. When done hanging around the rock, continue back down the opposite way you came. The trail here is a bit less maintained compared to the main area so watch your step.
