Climb the Suesca Rocks

The Rocas de Suesca are well known for their climbing opportunities. But also if you don't come fully equipped, there are plenty of possibilities to explore the rocks and caves.

While driving into town, you will see a couple of climbing and outdoor companies. This is where you want to leave the car (or get off the bus) and turn right. You will immediately see the railroad tracks. Now turn left and follow the tracks for a quarter of a mile and you will reach the rocks.

There are various climbing routes. If you are exploring the area without equipment, I suggest to scramble up the rock before the one with the statue. If you are up for some more advanced climbing, you can also book a tour with one of the operators, a 2h climb starts at 15.000 COP (5 USD).
