Take a deep breathe from the heat in the refreshing town of Minca and plunge yourself into the natural pool.
This hike starts on the main road, passing through the town. Continue on the main road out of the city and follow this path for about 40min when you will encounter a sign pointing towards the Hotel Pozo Azul. Turn left here and follow the path until you get to a hanging bridge. You can see the waterfall already when you look to your right. The way to cross the bridge is closed, but if you look towards the hill on your right, you can see a small path leading to the pools.
You can dive in and swim here, you can also cross the pool and walk further upstream. Usually the water is transparent and blue, unfortunately, it just heavily rained when I was there so the pictures don't look as appealing as they will another day.
On your way back, make sure to bring a couple of pesos to stop at the bakery "la miga panederia" in town next to the church with fresh self-made bread and Marmelade!
