A casual walk along the stream of a little river through the rolling hills of San Rafael
It's a nice walk along the river stream. Drive out of San Rafael into the hills, be aware tus becomes a dirt road that is manageable by a normal car in normal weather conditions.
Park at La Cristalina for 5000 COP (you can also overnight camp here in your car for the same price) and start walking the off-road street uphill until you get to a wooden gate. Just push it open and continue following he little path you see. Be aware of the dogs that you might encounter on the way.
I walked until the second metal gate that you can push open as well, but had to turn around because of a thunderstorm rolling in. You can continue the way, just make sure you always walk parallel to the river and you are respectful when crossing private land.
When coming back have a cold beer at La Cristalina and chill in their hammocks before heading back.
