Kitesurf in Cabo de la Vela

Cabo de la Vela is not an easy access if you don't own your own 4x4. Take a collectivo from Riohacha (tell the driver where you're headed to) and change into a 4x4 in Uribia to get to Cabo de la Vela. If you're several people you might also be able to negotiate a good deal right away as the trip will take several hours from Riohacha.

• Once you get to Cabo, you will have the option to stay in several very basic hostels right at the beach and you can enjoy consistent wind from early in the morning until late at night. Equipment rental and lessons (30 USD pP per Hour) are also available here.
