It's a great base for strolling along the river, hiking and mountain biking tours in The Valley, horseback riding in the outback or if you want to take on the challenge and climb the 5215m high Nevado del Tolima
You should definitely dedicate one day diving into the coffee Zoroaster with Jaime, a local coffee farmer that will introduce you to his personal jungle of coffee beans and let you pick, dry, peel, roast and brew your own coffee. It is not the most adventurous activity, but doesn't hanging in his hammocks sipping your self produced cup of coffee like a good alternative for a day?
