Ski or Snowboard at Powder King Mountain Resort

Powder King is approximately 2 hours, or 200km (124miles) North of Prince George, BC, Canada and Grande Prairie, Alberta is 384km (238miles) Southeast.

Once you get to Powder King there is no cell phone service or access to WIFI, which makes it awesome as there are no distractions, just you, the mountains, and your friends.

PK is open Thursday to Sunday every week during the winter season. You can either drive up there yourself for the day or take the PK Express Bus that picks up people in Prince George, Mackenzie, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, Beaverlodge, and Grande Prairie. If you want to stay the night you can check in at the hostel or book one of the few cabins far in advance that are near the base of the mountain.

While you are snowboarding or skiing at Powder King on a sunny day you will be able to see the magnificent views of Pine Le Moray Provincial Park directly across from the resort.

Powder King truly lives up to its name. If you are willing to search around on the mountain you will always be able to find untouched powder. The friendly, helpful staff and pristine Northern Rockies location makes it an experience you won't soon forget.
