About this place

Added by Matt Clark

Enjoy 360 degree views of the Canadian Rockies with relatively little work for such spectacular viewing. It is accessible all year round (equipment permitting).

Tent Ridge is located in Kananaskis Country, a 45 minute drive from Calgary, Alberta. Start on Mount Shark Road at the pull out to your right. You will have to walk a few 100 meters back down the road to access the trail head to begin this hike.

Some decent elevation is gained during the hike with the majority of it done in the last 20 minutes of scrambling. Total roundtrip to the Ridge summit is roughly 3-4 hours depending on season.
