About this place

Added by Rory Court

Free suspension bridge crossing Lynn Canyon,an alternative to overcrowded Capilano Suspension Bridge.Great photo opportunities and close to Vancouver.

Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge spans Lynn Canyon and is located near the popular Lynn Headwaters Park.  To get there, exit the Trans Canada Highway onto Lynn Valley Road. Shortly after passing through the centre of the Lynn Valley community, turn right onto Peters Rd.  This road will turn into "Park Rd." and parking will appear almost immediately.

The actual bridge is very close to the parking, it will literally take you a minute or less to get to the bridge after you park. I would recommend that you venture out to the bridge on a rainy day if you want the bridge to yourself.  You may still run into a few people here and there; however, there is a good chance you and your company will have the bridge to yourselves.

The bridge offers a great chance to get some shots, however, try to enjoy your time there and soak in the peacefulness.  The creek will be rushing below and there is a nice waterfall you can see from the bridge.

This is a hidden gem in the Vancouver area and a nice alternative to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. You can also hike the Lynn Canyon Loop if you're looking for more exercise.

Suspension bridge
Prefer Lynn Valley over Capilano for its suspension bridge! Nice little loop walk, mostly all on boardwalks. Beautiful easy walk through the forest

Cool bridge
This bridge is neat, minus the 1 zillion people that seem to always be standing on it!
