About this place

Added by Kelsey Westbrook

This hike offers the chance to stroll through Douglas Fir and Hemlock forests and rewards you with spectacular views of Fulford Harbour, Mt. Bruce and Mt. Maxwell. Pack a picnic to enjoy at the top while you watch the ferries come into the harbour.

From the Fulford ferry terminal, turn left onto Morningside Drive and follow the road to the end, where you’ll find a small area to park your car. From here, head up towards the subdivision and keep an eye out for the trail marker on your left, located 100m past the gate into Reginald Hills Estate.

The first half of the hike is relatively flat, taking you through Douglas Fir and Hemlock forests, while the second half of the hike has some steep sections. The trail is well defined and easy to follow, but is located alongside private property, so make sure to stay on the trail!

The trail itself is only about 1km to the top, but give yourself 1.5 hours so you can enjoy the views and explore the top.
