About this place

Added by Tanner Thompson

Twin Falls via Yoho Valley Trail in Yoho National Park offers multiple waterfall views for the price of one hike!

An 18 km hike with approx 300 m elevation gain, with good variety, several waterfalls, Twin Falls themselves, Twin Falls Tea House (especially if it's open), a walk through a rock field with great views, a dried up lake bed.

Start at the Takakkaw Falls parking lot and follow the well marked trail towards Twin Falls. Along the way you will see several falls, and a few lookouts showcasing other falls in the distance. At 8km you get to twin falls where there are benches to sit at and enjoy the view. You can also take a different path back through a rock garden that meets back up with the main trail for a change of scenery.
