About this place

Added by Thomas Ostapchuk

Sparkling turquoise waters and majestic limestone cliffs reveal one of the most magical places in Ontario. Enjoy a challenging hike on a well-maintained and diverse terrain.

Start in the Little Cove parking lot where you'll hop on the Bruce Trail and follow the easy-to-spot trail markers. A map in the parking lot shows the distances and attractions along the trail. You will climb up rock trails and pass many amazing lookout points. Keep a sharp eye out for the wide variety of wildflowers and wildlife that populate the Bruce Peninsula.

There are four beaches along the trail including Little Cove and the Grotto. Georgian Bay water is cold so be prepared if you're thinking about taking a dip!

The hike will take you 2-3 hours depending on your pace and how many breaks you take.

If you are hiking point-to-point to the Grotto, have someone pick you up in Bruce Peninsula National Park unless you want to walk back.
