Siffleur Falls Trail

Approximately 93 miles (150kms) West of Rocky Mountain House along Highway 11, the trailhead begins at the Siffleur Falls Day Use Area. This spot offers restrooms and picnic tables to relax after your hike.

Begin by following the trail along the North Saskatchewan River. Cross the very long suspension bridge and then follow along the wooden boardwalk. Shortly after you'll cross another bridge across the Siffleur River. Follow this for another 2.5 miles (4kms) to the Siffleur Falls Viewpoint. A beautiful spot to watch the first falls dive deep into a canyon.

Most people turn around at Siffleur Falls viewpoint but there is still another two sets of waterfalls further up the trail. The second set of falls is another 1.5 miles (2.5kms) further up the trail. There are open view points located on the trail to view these falls. From here keep going along the canyon trail for another 1.5km until it drops down towards the last set of falls. There is small campsite here and a few inuksuk's. You can sit next to the rivers edge and have lunch or set up camp for a beautiful backcountry spot.
