This hike provide spectacular views of the south end of Salt Spring Island and on a clear day Mt. Baker.
From Ganges head south on Fulford-ganes road toward Fulfrod harbour. Turn right on Dukes road then a right on Seymour Heights. Seymour Heights turns into a dirt road, with a number of pot holes but nothing a non 4x4 car can't handle. At the trail head there is a small turn around and not a ton of parking; this trail head isn't used very often so you don't have to be worried.
The trail you will start on is #1. The trail is well maintained and marked well. About 10m in from the trail head there is a map highlighting the different trail numbers and routes you can take. If you stick on trail 1 and then switched over to # 4 at the crossroads it will give you breathtaking views of the south end of the island.
Once you get to the top take a break and enjoy the views. There are toilets at the top.
Note: If hiking isn't for you, there is a paved road to the top that you can drive.
