Hike Les Cascades and Les Falaises Trails, Parc National du la Mauricie

Start at the shewenwgan picnic area and cross the grass to come to the bridge that takes you to the hiking trails. Once there start up the right branch of the cascades trail. Now at this point you can continue up the trail or you can walk on the large rocks that make up the cascades. At the top of the cascades the trail is right on the right hand side and continue down the path.At the first fork, take the junction trail that connnects to the Les Falaises trail. Once reaching the Les Falaises trail take the left branch and follow it all the way back to the junction. Re-cross the junction and take a right when you have reached the Les Cascades fork. This will complete the Les Cascades loop and the hike.    

Now that you're done the hike, it's time to chill. Walk back up to the cascades, pick a pool , man made or natural , and sit back and enjoy the water rushing over you. Then sunbathe on the rocks to dry.
