About this place

Added by Elliott Kramer

Sproule Creek falls is on private property. Please ensure you have the owner's permission to visit this area.

Please note, the path to this waterfall crosses private property. The early portion of this trail passes through the Marsden Face Conservation Property, which is privately owned conservation land. Visitors to this property are asked to respect the ecological values of the property. Please follow the designated trail and keep dogs on leash. The trail continues onto a separate, privately-owned parcel that is signed as 'no trespassing,' which is where the falls are located. It is not recommended to hike the trail unless visitors have obtained permission to be on the land where the falls are.

Sproule Creek Falls is a beautiful but relatively unknown waterfall just minutes from Nelson, BC. To reach the falls, head out of Nelson on highway 6 toward Castlegar. After crossing the bridge over Kootenay Lake at Taghum, take the first right onto Reibin Road. Follow the road down to the parking lot next to the creek and you will see an unmarked path leading up the meadow on the right hand side of the creek (looking upstream). Simply follow this path for about 300 metres until you reach the fall!
