Exploring the Best of Moab in One Winter Weekend

This winter my buddy and I decided to spend a weekend hiking and doing landscape photography around Moab, Utah. We drove in Friday and spent the evening at Dead Horse Point State Park to shoot photos at sunset. The sunset didn't disappoint, and we drove back to Moab having already taken some great photos that first night. The next morning we got up for a sunrise hike to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. This is another beautiful area and it's absolutely worth getting up to see at sunrise. If you're going to see Delicate Arch, I would highly recommend visiting in either the early morning or the evening.

We spent more time exploring Arches National Park for the rest of that day, and decided to hit Canyonlands National Park the following morning. After taking photos at sunrise we went back to Dead Horse Point SP and did some drone photography before heading back to Denver. (Drones are legal in this state park during the winter months with a permit - purchased from the visitor center.)
