Serene Bay Area hike with sensational panoramic views
Found this hike with some friends after spending some time googling in my car when we were in the area looking for a quick hike with a view!
- Dog friendly
- Free parking (but quite limited)
- Ocean views
- Known to have gorgeous wildflower blooms (we were not there during this)
- Porta-potty type toilet available
- Lots of history to this area that can be found here

Head on over to one of Pacifica’s beaches for a closer view of the sunset after this hike. Or if you want more activity, check this hike out.
From the NPS website for this:
“The entrance to Milagra Ridge is off of Sharp Park Road in Pacifica. From Highway 1, follow Sharp Park Road to the east, or from Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35), follow Sharp Park Road to the west. Turn north on College Drive and continue 0.25-mile to roadside parking at the gate.”
