About this place

Added by Outbound

This beautiful small beach is perfect for a relaxing stroll or sunset picnic.

Wilson Beach in False Klamath Cove is a small but scenic spot in Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park. Surrounded by thick forest, the dark gray sandy beach is scattered with driftwood, interesting rocks formations, and tide pools. The small free parking area has picnic tables and is a popular spot for fishing. Dogs are allowed on the beach on leash. South of Wilson Beach, a small .5 mile trail leads to Hidden Beach with sea stacks and tide pools.
