Minaret Vista offers stunning panoramic views of the jagged Minarets, which are part of the Ritter Range in Mammoth Lakes, California. This viewpoint can be reached by driving up Minaret Road (Highway 203) to Lookout Point Road. From the viewpoint, you can also see Mount Ritter, standing at 13,157 feet, and Banner Peak at 12,945 feet, the tallest peaks in the area.
This is a popular spot for both daytime sightseeing and nighttime stargazing. In the winter months, Minaret Road is closed, but the vista is accessible via cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, adding to its year-round appeal. To access the viewpoint in the winter, you would park at Main Lodge and trek up Minaret Road.
