Day hike from Kirchberg in Tirol to Kitzbühel via Sieldalm-See
The trail begins in Klausen, near Restaurant Schwedenkapelle, with an uphill on gravel through the forest, with the stream to your left. The trail is shaded until you reach an open meadow, approximately 2km into your hike.
The trail is well marked with Austrian flags painted on rocks and trees, as well as yellow signs. Follow the ones for Seidalm-See, which is a manmade lake where you can stop for a rest/ picnic. From here, you can enjoy views of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. Follow the trail down to another smaller manmade lake, which will take you to Seidlalm, a hut where you can enjoy Austrian alpine specialties and ice cold refreshments.
The trail continues downhill towards the town of Kitzbühel, ending at the Hahnenkammbahn chairlift station.
