About this place

Added by Casey Moore

Great chill bush walk, located in Wild Cattle Creek near Tannum Sands. Perfect for views for sunrise or sunset.

This hike is super easy, practically no elevation gain.

Drive to the end of Wild Cattle Creek Rd in Tannum Sands. At the end of the road there will be a large turn around and you will also find a boat ramp and the trail head to the right clearly marked. Also, make sure you do not use the boat trailer parking, we park on the edge of turn around, right beside the trail head.

This walk is 4.6km out and back, with beautiful scenery along the way. At the end of the trail there is an opening that allows you to look over mangroves and Wild Cattle Island.

Perfect spot for sunrise or sunset.

Also, remember to take all your rubbish with you and pick up any rubbish you see along the way.
