Hike the Cathedral Peak Loop

From Ned's Gully carpark, cross the road where you see a small suspension bridge to the campground, taking a left towards the trail once you're on the other side.

Follow the trail until you reach a junction and follow the Cathedral Track (rather than the Little River Walk). The trail will quickly begin to ascend up to the peak.

The trail is well marked and climbs steadily until you reach Ned's Saddle. From here, follow the trail to your right. Here the trail hugs the peak until you climb and reach Little Cathedral Peak. Here you get some amazing views of the area and can see Cathedral Peak to the south.

From here, retrace your steps until you begin to ascend with the trail to Cathedral Peak. 

Once you reach Cathedral Peak, you will be able to see the ridge track and North Jawbone Peak. There are some stunning views from this area.

Once you're done enjoying these views, descend back down to Ned's Gully Carpark.

If you are looking for a longer walk, you can instead follow the ridge from Cathedral Peak to the Farmyard, taking Jawbone Creek Track until you meet the junction with Cooks Mill Campsite, then follow the Little River Track. This will add just under 7km to your walk, but the views from the ridge are extraordinary. Backpack the Cathedral Ranges

Ned's Gully is a fantastic camping spot as well if you want to spend a night (or more!). The spots are first come first serve, but you must book in advance.
