About this place

Added by Katie Kessel

A stunning beach spot to take your surfboard or watch the dramatic waves batter Issacs Rocks. A must see if you're in Margaret River!

The best times to go are either during a big swell so you can admire the waves crashing against the rocks, a bright sunny day so you can admire the red rocks and beautiful turquoise water, or at sunset where you can admire the sun setting over the Indian Ocean. To be honest, it would be hard to find a time where visiting this beach wouldn't be spectacular.

From the parking lot, head left onto the walkway and follow the path. If you want to see the waves crashing against “Issacs Rocks,” exit the path at the first opportunity on the right and head down to the water. You can head fairly far out on the rocks here.

Further down the walkway, you can make your way to the beach, where you can either watch the surfers or join in.

If you're going in the water, please be careful as there are no lifeguards on patrol and there is a strong rip.

There are places to rent boogie boards sometimes at the car park if you're interested in getting in the water.
