About this place

Added by Noah West

A scenic drive will bring you to this awesome campground that is surrounded by waterfalls and overlooks. The trails range from beginner to advanced bushwhack.

This is one of my favorite places to camp in Arkansas. Once you get there you can hike to Twin Falls or Sandstone Castle, or explore the numerous cascades along Richland Creek. It's a relatively small campground with 11 campsites, but has a lot of places to hang hammocks and also offers a picnic area and bathrooms.

Getting there: Take Hwy. 16 east from Pelsor (located on Hwy. 7 between Jasper and Dover), past Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area, to Ben Hur. Continue past Ben Hur on Hwy. 16 for a mile and then turn left onto FR#1205/CR#68. Continue on this road for 9.4 miles until you reach the campground.
