On the eastern side of Baja California Sur lies miles of rugged coastline, much of it untouched with a serene beauty, especially during a warm Baja sunset. Situated several hours drive north of Cabo San Lucas and well over an hour from the nearest city, it's a trek to get here but well worth the effort.

Subtle pink hues form on the horizon while gentle waves crash on the rocky shore.

The interior of the peninsula closely resembles an arid desert. Minimal rainfall and a scorching sun form a parched yet beautiful landscape dotted with the world's largest cactus species.

Colors and Contrasts

Rocky outcrops and cliffs give way to the azure blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. Sunrises here are truly sublime

A slowly rising sun and soft light presents wonderful opportunities for long exposure photos, allowing you to capture water movement and unique compositions.

Exploring Rewards

Climbing a sun-scorched hill at sunset rewards with a commanding view of the landscape; deep colors in the sky form a stunning backdrop. To get to this locale required snaking through razor sharp scrub and vegetation, but the view and sunset made it all very much worth it.
